The SQA apply the S.Q.C. principles by practical themes. For the Label Copyrights, they cover 10 main domains:
Educational – MOOCs, textbooks, Abundance University: integration of copyright in education, licensed libraries, academic committees.
Scientific – publications, citations, repositories: ethical open science, standardised deposits, citation databases.
Territorial – charters, cities, governance: local cultural sovereignty, bilingual charters, work registries.
Artistic – performances, visuals, recordings: protection of artistic intention, stage licences, metadata.
Technological – software, modules, white labels: ethical design, dual licences, signed repositories.
Humanitarian – protocols, emergencies, REED Hands: neutrality, multilingual kits, capitalisation of feedback.
Philosophical – works, concepts, ethical and reflective frameworks: transmission of ideas, prohibition of commercial drifts, contextual integrity.
Ecosystemic – multi-domain projects, spheres and NODES: interconnection, REED governance, multi-layer licences.
New paradigms – systemic innovations, quantum sciences: dynamic licences, preservation of the integrity of concepts.
Community – collective practices, local initiatives: citizen governance, pooling of resources, shared recognition.
Each domain takes up the 10 S.Q.C. pillars with specific actions (see cross grid S.Q.C. × 10 Applied Themes) and is declined into adapted licensing conditions:
- Standard licence for generic uses.
- Specific licences by project typology: humanitarian, technological, philosophical, ecosystemic, community, new paradigms.
- Special cases: e.g., TORUS retains its Apache 2.0 licence (Custom Extension), with the possibility of integrating modules under specific licences.
The SQA ensure systemic coherence while offering the flexibility needed to protect each project according to its specificities.
A.Q.S. steering loop applied to the Label
- Thematic planning: each SQA domain (educational, scientific, territorial, artistic, technological, humanitarian, philosophical, ecosystemic, community, new paradigms) has an annual cycle of objectives and actions.
- Implementation: deployment of actions specific to each S.Q.C. pillar within the domain concerned.
- Monitoring and evaluation: collection of domain-specific indicators (educational impact, scientific dissemination, community adoption, technological innovation, etc.).
- Continuous improvement: integration of feedback, updating of specific licences and adaptation of practices.
- Interoperability: harmonisation between the different domains to avoid contradictions and maximise synergies.
